Other well known and quality hotels available are the NH Schiller, $88/night, Hilton $130, Movenpick $95 ( a little out of the way, but just a little, and fantastic harbor views). The Kras is a 5 star facility so I would start there. These rates coupled with lower airfares starting next week, for example from NYC, a fare of $567 round trip is offered on US Airways, make for a great winter break fun weekend in Amsterdam this month.
